Sept. 9, 2019—Cy-Fair High School senior Hayley Johnson is regarded for her work with the L.I.F.E. Skills program in addition to her involvement and leadership in the campus National Art Honor Society.

Accomplishments: Johnson helps lead the Cy-Fair High School National Art Honor Society, serving as president and working diligently to find volunteer opportunities for the organization.
Favorite things to do after class: “Writing, reading and hanging out with friends.”
Favorite song: “Of all time would be Follow Me by Uncle Kracker. Right now would be Somewhere Only We Know by Keane.”
Favorite website: “Amazon.com or Etsy.com just because I can shop for whatever.”
Favorite TV show: “Skins because it is dramatic, funny and oddly relatable at points. It also addresses a lot of important issues without taking itself too seriously.”
Ambition: “Becoming a special education teacher because I’ve genuinely fallen in love with working with those students at school.”
What topics/things are you passionate about?: “Special education programs, teaching, art and writing.”
Who inspires you?: “My sisters, music, books, my friends and my experiences.”
What three things can’t you live without?: “My younger sister, insulin and books.”
What are you most looking forward to this semester?: “I am looking forward to getting my senior year underway.”
