 CFISD Student of the Week: Isaiah Robinson

Oct. 8, 2018—Campbell Middle School eighth-grader Isaiah Robinson is an honor student participating in the HORIZONS program who is also active on campus, as he has been part of student council for two years.

School: Campbell Middle School

Age: 14

Grade: 8

Accomplishments: Robinson has participated in student council for two years and competes in YMCA basketball. In the classroom, he is an honor student and HORIZONS program participant.

Favorite class: “Language Arts with Mr. (Mike) McMannes because he guides us to think outside the box.”

Favorite things to do after class: “I like to associate with friends and play basketball.”

Favorite song:One Man Can Change The World by Big Sean.”

Favorite TV show:Lost because so many secrets come out every episode and I always have something to go back to.”

Favorite movie:Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom because it was a great movie to end a well thought-out storyline.”

Ambition: “My ambition is to become an engineer. I would like to be independent and able to support a family.”

What topics/things are you passionate about?: “Mainly basketball and sometimes science and the future of planet Earth.”

What inspires you?: “The constant thought of a perfect future is what inspires me.”

What three things can’t you live without?: “Phone, shoes and television.”

What are you most looking forward to this semester?: “I am most looking forward to going to the Celebration of Success.”
