Oct. 15, 2018—Owens Elementary School fourth-grade student Kenlee Trotter-Henry, who passed the STAAR test last school year, is on the A/B honor roll in addition to her participation in cheer and dance.

Accomplishments: Trotter-Henry passed the STAAR test last school year and has made the A/B honor roll. In addition, she participates in cheer and dance.

Favorite class: “Reading and science because they teach us something new.”

Favorite things to do after class: “I like participating in sports activities.”

Favorite song: “Lost Boy by Ruth B.”

Favorite because you can see shows that don’t come on regular TV.”

Favorite TV show:Skin Wars because it has drama and I love drama.”

Ambition: “I want to a part of a professional ballet because ballet is my life and I enjoy the technique of dance.”

What topics/things are you passionate about?: “My passion is dance and doing my best at it. It allows me to express my feelings in some way.”

What inspires you?: “I’m always inspired to do my best at all times. To meet a challenge and be successful.”

What three things can’t you live without?: “The three things I can’t live without are my family, ballet and TV. My family loves and supports me, ballet is my passion and TV entertains me.”

What are you most looking forward to this semester?: “Learning division.”
