CFISD Student of the Week: Lewis Beedie

Feb. 8, 2021—Cypress Falls High School senior Lewis Beedie is recognized for his accomplishments inside and outside of the classroom.  

School: Cypress Falls High School

Age: 19

Grade: 12

Accomplishments: Beedie is a member of the varsity cross country and track teams at Cypress Falls and was nominated to be a morning announcer for the 2020-2021 school year.

Favorite class: “My favorite class is Work Based Learning because we go out into the community and experience how to work in different environments.”

Favorite things to do after class: “I enjoy listening to music.”

Favorite song:Something Big by Shawn Mendez.”

Favorite website/app:TikTok, because I can express myself with music and show people my talents.”

Favorite TV show:Impractical Jokers, because it’s hilarious!”

Favorite movie:Baywatch, because Zac Efron learns a life lesson on how to be a team player.”

Ambition: “I push myself to be independent. I’m working on getting my driver’s license, gain more employment skills and ask for help when I need it. My hope and dream is to become a groundskeeper for CFISD and live out my own life.”

What topics/things are you passionate about?: “Graduating high school and getting good grades.”

What inspires you?: “My parents, friends and teachers.”

What three things can’t you live without?: “My siblings, parents and phone.”

What are you most looking forward to this semester?: “Running track and continuing to learn new things in my Work Based Learning class.”
