CFISD Student of the Week: Micaiah Stevens

Dec. 10, 2018—Wells Elementary School fourth-grade student Micaiah Stevens is a LEADer on campus and member of student council who teachers say consistently shows integrity and initiative.

School: Wells Elementary School

Age: 9

Grade: 4

 

Accomplishments: Stevens is a LEADer at Wells and also serves on the student council. He is regarded as a hard-working student who shows kindness on a daily basis and encourages classmates.

Favorite class: “Mrs. (Kyndra) Hartzler’s class because it involves writing and reading. Writing is one of my favorite things to do. I really like recording my writing for the class podcast. I like to stop and write while reading.”

Favorite things to do after class: “My favorite thing to do after school is play basketball.”

Favorite TV show:Wild Kratts because it is educational and full of action.”

Ambition: “I want to become an NBA All-Star player.”

What topics/things are you passionate about?: “I’m passionate about playing basketball.”

Who inspires you?: “My favorite basketball players are Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant.”

What three things can’t you live without?: “Basketball, reading and writing.”
