What inspires you?: “My family because they already try their best to succeed at what they do. If they don’t achieve something, they keep trying. When I’m at practice and I don’t do well, I stay late and keep swimming until I succeed. Also, Katie Ledecky because she went to the Olympics at such a young age and won a gold medal by about 30 seconds. She keeps breaking her own record over and over again.”

What three things can’t you live without?: “Pool, food and family.”

What are you most looking forward to this semester?: “Placing higher at swim meets and spending time with friends. I’m enjoying my eighth-grade year at Truitt Middle School and I’m looking forward to high school.”
