CFISD trio earns honors on 2019 TGCA All-State Softball Team

 Cypress Ranch High School rising senior Britton Rogers was among three CFISD athletes named to the 2019 Texas Girls Coaches Association Class 6A All-State Team. Rogers helped lead the Mustangs to the Region II-6A semifinals.

June 17, 2019—Three CFISD softball standouts earned honors on the 2019 Texas Girls Coaches Association Class 6A All-State Team, with Cypress Ranch High School rising senior Britton Rogers, Cypress Lakes High School rising junior Abriana Garcia and Cy-Fair High School rising sophomore Ashlyn Jones named among the 40 honorees.

Rogers was the District 14-6A Most Valuable Player after helping lead Cypress Ranch to the league championship and an appearance in the Region II-6A semifinals.

Garcia was voted 14-6A’s Offensive Most Valuable Player.

Cypress Lakes High School rising junior Abriana Garcia joined Britton Rogers of Cypress Ranch High School and Ashlyn Jones of Cy-Fair High School in being named to the 2019 Texas Girls Coaches Association Class 6A All-State Team.

Jones earned first-team honors on the All-District 17-6A Team for Cy-Fair, which reached the area round of the postseason.
