Cy-Fair HS advances to volleyball region quarterfinals

Nov. 11, 2019—The Cy-Fair High School volleyball team advanced past the area round of the Class 6A playoffs to the region quarterfinals, while the Cypress Falls High School volleyball team concluded its season.

Cy-Fair swept Katy Seven Lakes in three sets by the scores of 25-13, 30-28 and 27-25. The Bobcats will face Katy High School on Nov. 12 at 5 p.m. at Wheeler Fieldhouse (16325 Lexington Blvd).

Tickets will be sold at the gate for $5 each (adults and students).

Cypress Falls was swept by Katy Cinco Ranch in three sets by the scores of 25-14, 25-21 and 25-13. The Golden Eagles were District 17-6A’s second seed and finished the season as bi-district champions.
