May 21, 2019—The Cypress Ranch high school baseball team advanced past the regional quarterfinals in the Class 6A postseason and move on to the regional semifinals this week, while Cy-Fair High School concluded its season and finished as a regional quarterfinalist.
Cypress Ranch High School defeated Round Rock in a best-of-three series by the scores of 2-1, 1-2 and 3-0. The Mustangs advance to the Region II-6A semifinals and will face Rockwall in a best-of-three series at the Mumford ISD Baseball Complex (9055 FM 50):
Tickets will be sold at the gate for $5 for adults and students.
Cy-Fair High School was defeated by Fort Bend Ridge Point in a best-of-three series by the scores of 9-6, 0-9 and 4-5. The Bobcats were District 17-6A’s third seed and finished as regional quarterfinalists.
