Dec. 13, 2020—Three CFISD football teams won their bi-district postseason games Dec. 10-12 and advanced to the area playoffs Dec. 17-19.
In the Class 6A Division I playoff bracket, Cy-Fair and Jersey Village high schools won their Region III matchups:
· Cy-Fair defeated Houston Westside, 47-7, on Dec. 10 at Pridgeon Stadium. The Bobcats will meet Katy Tompkins on Friday, Dec. 18 at 6 p.m. at Katy ISD’s Legacy Stadium (1830 Katyland Dr.).
· Jersey Village beat Houston Bellaire, 52-0, on Dec. 11 at Houston ISD’s Delmar Stadium. The Falcons will face Fort Bend Ridge Point on Saturday, Dec. 19 at 4 p.m. at Legacy Stadium in Katy.
Jersey Village High School running back Xavier Joyce and the Falcons beat Houston Bellaire in a Division I Region III-6A bi-district game and advance to meet Fort Bend Ridge Point on Dec. 19.
The Cypress Woods Wildcats ended their season as Division I Region II-6A bi-district finalists following a 54-26 loss to Klein Cain on Dec. 10.
The Cypress Ranch Mustangs ended their season as Division I Region II-6A bi-district finalists following a 30-6 loss to Klein Oak on Dec. 11.
In the Class 6A Division II bracket, Bridgeland High School won its Region II bi-district game to advance to area:
· Bridgeland defeated Klein Collins, 41-18, on Dec. 10 at Cy-Fair FCU Stadium. The Bears will meet Spring Dekaney on Thursday, Dec. 17 at 7 p.m. at Cy-Fair FCU Stadium (8877 Barker Cypress Road).

The Cypress Park Tigers ended their season as Division II Region II-6A bi-district finalists following a 57-52 loss to Tomball Memorial on Dec. 10.
The Cypress Creek Cougars ended their season as Division II Region III-6A bi-district finalists following a 38-21 loss to Houston Heights on Dec. 12.
For Bridgeland’s game at Cy-Fair FCU Stadium, ticketing procedures will be the same from the regular season. Online ticket sales for participating families will begin Dec. 13 and continue through Monday, Dec. 14. Any remaining tickets will be made available to the general public beginning Tuesday, Dec. 15. Tickets can be accessed on the cy-fairtix.com website.
For the road playoff games at Katy ISD’s Legacy Stadium, tickets will go on sale for participant’s families (football, band, drill, cheer and spirit groups) on Monday, Dec. 14 at 9 a.m. Links will be distributed by each of the aforementioned organizations and Cy-Fair and Jersey Village high schools. Tickets available for each participant’s family is limited to four according to Katy ISD policy. All remaining tickets will be available on Wednesday, Dec. 16 through the CFISD Athletic website and social media.
Tickets for all games will be sold for $8 (adults) and $6 (students) apiece, while tickets at the gate will be sold for $10 apiece.
