Cypress Springs High School recently wrapped up its fall musical, Little Shop of Horrors, on Oct. 5.
“I was so happy to bring our fall production of Little Shop of Horrors,” said Cypress Springs theatre director Andrea Boronell. “I enjoyed directing my first musical last year so much, I decided to do it again. Our own principal, Travis Fanning, was great playing the scary Audrey II!”

Cypress Ridge High School will perform their production of Seussical! Jan. 29, 30 and 31 at 7 p.m.
“Having four of our high schools participating in the 2015 Tommy Tune Awards is a testament to the strong musical theatre programs we have in CFISD,” said secondary theatre arts coordinator Tim Estelle. “These productions are not only a showcase of our theatre arts programs, but further demonstrate the collaborative process between multiple fine arts disciplines on each campus. Students participating in each production represent a wide-range of musical interests, and the Tommy Tune Awards do a great job of highlighting these individuals and programs. Cypress Ranch, Cypress Ridge, Cypress Springs and Cypress Woods will compete at a high level this year, and we look forward to celebrating their individual and collaborative success at this year’s awards ceremony.”
