Nine CFISD student athletic trainers earned 2018-2019 Texas State Athletic Trainers’ Association Academic All-State honors. Jan. 23, 2019—Nine CFISD student athletic trainers from four high schools earned the 2018-2019 Texas State Athletic Trainers’ Association (TSATA) Academic All-State award, with each recognized during the Greater Houston Athletic Trainers’ Society (GHATS) Student Workshop.
A 10th student trainer won during competition at the workshop, held Jan. 19 at Crosby High School. Langham Creek High School junior Riley Gaitan won Student’s Choice in the Poster competition.
CFISD Academic All-State representatives and their schools were presented with certificates at the workshop. Students who earned the recognition met the following requirements:
