Cy-Fair High School junior Katie Wendler and the Bobcats defeated Katy Seven Lakes, 1-0, on April 2 to advance to the region semifinal round of the Class 6A playoffs. Cy-Fair will face Beaumont West Brook at 6:30 p.m. on April 6 at Huffman ISD Falcon Stadium.
April 6, 2021—Three CFISD boys’ and girls’ soccer teams won their respective Region II-6A and Region III-6A region quarterfinal matches.
District 16-6A boys’ soccer results are as follows:
Bridgeland High School defeated Aldine MacArthur, 3-1. The Bears advance to the region semifinal round to face Garland Sachse at 7 p.m. on April 6 at Mexia High School-Blackcat Stadium (1000 N. Bailey St.)
Langham Creek High School ended its season with a 2-0 loss to Klein Forest. The Lobos were District 16-6A’s first seed and region quarterfinalists.

Jersey Village High School senior Felipe Martinez and the Falcons defeated Katy Cinco Ranch, 5-1, on April 1 to advance to the region semifinal round of the Class 6A playoffs. Jersey Village will face Alief Elsik at 7:30 p.m. on April 6 at Katy ISD Legacy Stadium.

Tickets for all regional semifinal games will be sold at the gate for $5 apiece (adults and students).
