Saylor Swick, Spillane Middle School sixth-grade student, will appear in the children’s chorus of the TUTS production of Sleeping Beauty & Her Winter Knight.
Dec. 15, 2017—Three CFISD students have been cast in the Theatre Under the Stars (TUTS) production of Sleeping Beauty & Her Winter Knight, which is running Dec. 12-24 at Sarofim Hall at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts.
Saylor Swick, Spillane Middle School sixth-grade student; Hope Vanderburg, Smith Middle School eighth-grade student; and Sean Graul, Hamilton Middle School seventh-grade student; are among 24 students from TUTS Humphreys School of Musical Theatre (HSMT) who were cast as the children’s chorus.
Hope Vanderburg, Smith Middle School eighth-grade student, will appear in the children’s chorus of the TUTS production of Sleeping Beauty & Her Winter Knight.
Starring John O’Hurley and Lauren Taylor, Sleeping Beauty & Her Winter Knight tells the story of Princess Aurora, who is cursed by an evil fairy, and the handsome prince who is on a quest to save her before it’s too late.
Sean Graul, Hamilton Middle School seventh-grade student, will appear in the children’s chorus of the TUTS production of Sleeping Beauty & Her Winter Knight.
“It’s so exciting to work with actors I’ve grown up watching on TV,” Swick said. “This is such a fun show!”
