U.S. congressman shows support for CFPD on #BackTheBlue tour

U.S. Rep. Michael McCaul concluded his #BackTheBlue tour on Oct. 26 with a visit to the CFISD police department. 

Oct. 31, 2016—District 10 U.S. Rep Michael McCaul concluded his month-long #BackTheBlue Tour by visiting Chief Alan Bragg and the CFISD police department on Oct. 26.

According to his website, Rep. McCaul is committed to ensuring local law enforcement officers have the tools and training they need to keep communities safe.

“Thank you for everything you do, protecting us, being on the front lines and keeping us safe,” Rep. McCaul said in a video he posted with Chief Bragg.

During his visit, Rep. McCaul thanked CFPD officers for their service to the district and emphasized how important security is now at all levels. He shared that some of the threats across America can happen anywhere.

Chief Bragg thanked Rep. McCaul for providing a U.S. flag to the department last year to commemorate its first five years of law enforcement services to CFISD. Chief Bragg then presented Rep. McCaul with a CFPD challenge coin.

“It is a special honor when a U.S. congressman takes time out of his busy schedule to commend the great work and services that our professional men and women deliver each day to our students, staff and facilities,” Chief Bragg said.
