CFISD Online Enrollment

PowerSchool LogoWelcome to CFISD! Register your new student using CFISD's online registration system powered by PowerSchool Enrollment. A new student is defined as new to CFISD and having never attended a school in CFISD, or a previous CFISD student that withdrew and is re-enrolling.

New Student Registration


Step 1:

Create a PowerSchool Enrollment account and complete the CFISD online registration forms.

Step 2:

Gather the documents listed in the REGISTRATION CHECKLISTThese are required for registration in CFISD. Then visit the registrar at your school zoned to your home address.


Students that are moving between campuses or have been enrolled in CFISD within the last 2-3 years will still need to visit their campus to complete a short, paper-based registration.

Registration Checklist

  • Certified copy of the child’s birth certificate from the Bureau of Vital Statistics.
  • Current immunization record.
  • Government-issued, photo ID for the child’s parent or legal guardian.
  • Proof of residency*(see details below).
  • Social security card for each child, if available.
  • Report card or transcript from the child’s last school, if students are registering for the sixth or ninth grade.

*Proof of Residency: At the time of registration, parents/guardians will be asked to provide proof of residency dated within the last 30 days. Documents that are provided should reflect the parent/legal guardian's name and street address. Please be prepared to submit one item from Line A and one item from Line B.

Line A: (Lessee) Verification in the form of your current ease/(Homeowner)Verification in the form of HCAD records, a mortgage statement, or closing documents.

Line B: Verification in the form of your current gas, water, or light bill
