Lowery Elementary honors Mr. and Mrs. M.O. Lowery. The Lowerys moved to the Cypress- Fairbanks area in 1929. In 1938, they took up residence in their home on Barker-Cypress Road. The family began farming the area known as "Middlegate" in the Copperfield Subdivision. Mr. Lowery served the community in various civic organizations in addition to serving as a member of the Cypress Fairbanks ISD Board of Trustees. Together, the Lowerys lived a rich life and touched the lives of many people in our community.
The entire staff of Lowery elementary is committed to providing an encouraging, challenging, enriching and safe environment for all our students. Our goal is to give each child the tools needed to be a successful and responsible citizen in their community, their country, and their world.
The Lowery PTO meets on a regular basis. The organization funds cultural arts activities and field trips, organizes volunteers, sponsors various student events, and conducts fund-raisers, which have provided technology, landscaping, books, and playground equipment. For more information, please check the PTO’s website.
Partnerships with the community are vital in order to strengthen instructional outcomes for all students. We would like you to develop a collaborative relationship with us that will foster long-term student achievement ... one that offers opportunities for all students ... making a difference together.
