It is the purpose of Truitt Middle School to provide students with an educational program which will allow them to develop to their full potential intellectually, academically, physically, emotionally, and socially in order to be responsible citizens and contributing members of society in the world of work and future academic pursuits.

History

Ronnie Truitt came to Cypress-Fairbanks ISD in 1967, and in 1971, coached the Cy-Fair High School Bobcat basketball team to their state basketball championship. He began his administrative career in 1972 as a high school assistant principal and elementary principal, spending his remaining years as principal of Jersey Village High School.
