Dec. 4, 2024—Fifty-two CFISD water polo athletes earned Academic All-State honors and accolades for the 2024-2025 school year from the Texas High School Coaches Association (THSCA).

Nov. 26, 2024—The Texas Art Education Association (TAEA) named CFISD a 2024 District of Distinction award winner, marking the fourth time the district has earned the prestigious designation. CFISD is among only 96 districts in the state to earn this award.
Nov. 21, 2024—CFISD welcomed elected officials and staff members to a State Legislators Breakfast on Nov. 21 at the Mark Henry, Ed.D. Administration Building, where they learned about key issues impacting the school district ahead of the 89th Texas Legislative Session.
