Academic Excellence

Choose Academic Excellence

Students at all 12 CFISD high schools participate in the College Academy partnership with Lone Star College— CyFair. The accelerated curriculum enables students to graduate with an associate’s degree along with their high school diploma.

Students seeking alternate career pathways have many available options through CFISD’s 130-plus career & technical education curriculum courses. More than 40,000 students in grades 7-12 took CTE courses in 2024-25, earning 15,068 certifications. Students participating in the annual CFISD Livestock Show & Sale earned more than $625,000 for their projects. More than 2,600 students from elementary to high school actively use robotics, and several high schools compete in the Vex Robotics state and world championship competitions. The district offers a two-way dual language program, an educational model in which both native English speakers and native Spanish speakers receive instruction together in both languages. Several campuses have Spanish action-based learning labs, where students learn Spanish through kinetic movement. 672 CFISD seniors and juniors from all 12 high schools were recognized at the 70th Annual National Merit/College Board National Recognition Program in February 2025. CFISD had 23 National Merit semifinalists in 2024-25. Five members of the graduating class of 2025 were appointed to United States service academies.
