Dec. 11, 2025—Three members of the CFISD Board of Trustees who were elected during the Nov. 4 general election were sworn into office during a Board work session on Dec. 11.

Nov. 10, 2025—The CFISD Board of Trustees approved the Districtwide Educational Improvement Council’s (DEIC) recommendations for the 2026-2027 instructional calendar during its regularly scheduled meeting on Nov. 10.

Nov. 5, 2025—With all 600 voting centers reporting from the Nov. 4 election for three seats on the Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District Board of Trustees, unofficial results indicate that Lesley Guilmart was elected to Position 5, Cleveland Lane Jr. was elected to Position 6 and Kendra Camarena was elected to Position 7.

June 24, 2025—The Cypress-Fairbanks ISD Board of Trustees adopted the 2025-2026 budget in the amount of $1,226,419,644 during its regularly scheduled meeting on June 23.
