Justin Ray has served on the Board of Trustees since November of 2023, when he was elected to his first term. A 32-year resident of CFISD, Mr. Ray lives in Jersey Village with his wife, Allison, and three children, Post Elementary School students Ellen (8) and Lauren (10) and Cook Middle School student Evan (13).

Mr. Ray works in business development in the oil and gas industry, and previously served as mayor of the City of Jersey Village. He was raised in the CFISD community, and chose to live there because of the quality of education, as well as strong families, lifelong friendships and safe communities.

Mr. Ray serves as a volunteer at Post Elementary School, and has participated in the Watch DOG program at the school—encouraging positive male role models for student. His family has been active in the Post Elementary PTO, where Allison serves as a board member.

For the last 15 years, Mr. Ray has participated in and presented the 1st Lieutenant Jeremy E. Ray Service Award for the Cy-Fair Educational Foundation at its Salute to Our Heroes event. 

In addition to his years in elected office and CFEF participation, Mr. Ray is active in the Boy Scouts of America Troop located in Jersey Village, where he served as committee chair and coordinated multiple events including merger related activities. He has been a member of Champions Forest Baptist – Jersey Village since 1990 and has served in various roles including the personnel committee.
