Elected to the Board of Trustees in November 2023, LeCompte has been a resident of CFISD for 19 years and lives in the Bridgeland subdivision with his spouse and two children, who attend Cypress Park High School as a senior and a freshman. A business owner and investor, he chose to live in CFISD for its strong sense of community and the meaningful connections he has built over the years.

Since joining the board, LeCompte has visited over 30 campuses and is actively engaged with students and schools. Passionate about student athletics, he assists in coaching Cypress Park High School’s JV and Varsity baseball teams during the summer and fall seasons. His commitment to student success also extends to volunteering as a Bus Buddy at multiple elementary schools and participating in the CFISD mentorship program.

Prior to serving on the board, he contributed to the district by serving on the District Library Materials Committee and participating in the 2023 superintendent search focus groups. His dedication to education and community involvement continues to shape his service on the Board of Trustees.
