SRC Volunteers In Public Schools (VIPS) Training for Beyond the Classroom Experiences

Kindergarten Animal Odyssey

VIPS Training is at the SRC located at 12600 Telge Road, Cypress, TX 77429.

VIPS may contact SRC@cfisd.net to request an overview and general instructions for crafts.

Training is required for those VIPS who desire to assist by handling animals. No RSVP needed.

First Grade Gulf Mysteries and Second Grade EcoAdventure

Teachers present the lessons for each of these learning experiences. VIPS may assist teachers with crafts, time keeping and movement of student groups.

VIPS may contact SRC@cfisd.net to request an overview and general instructions for these learning experiences. VIPS Training is not required to assist with this learning experience.

Third Grade and Fifth Grade Nature Trails

The Nature Trails learning experience is facilitated by 3rd and 5th grade teachers and trained VIPS.

VIPS Training is at the CFISD Nature Trails located at 13500 Shaft Drive (Behind Millsap Elementary).

Training is required for VIPS to lead a station and assist teachers.

Check with the Science Instructional Specialist at your campus to see if/when your students are going to these events.
