Pre-K Overview
Pre-K Curriculum
The pre-K program in CFISD is a time of exploration and discovery. It is a time of purposeful play when children learn to share, make lifelong friends and respect others. Our program is based on the 10 domains of the Texas PK Guidelines: social/emotional development, language and communication, emergent reading, emergent writing, math, science, social studies, fine arts, physical development and health, and technology.
Both Qualified (free) pre-K and tuition-based pre-K students will benefit from the same enriching program.
CFISD pre-K is available at no cost for children who meet pre-K eligibility requirements.

If your child is ineligible for the qualified pre-K program, CFISD offers a tuition-based pre-K program at all campuses on a space-available basis.
