2026-27 General Transfer Request
2026-27 General Transfer Requests may be completed by a parent/legal guardian who would like their child to attend a school other than their zoned campus. Requests can only be considered for the open campuses listed below. Requests are reviewed by the campus principal, and approval is not guaranteed.
As a part of the review, principals may consider the following:
- receiving campus grade level/class sizes
- student’s current schedule
- time of the school year (state testing, end of year, etc.)

To ensure that our office can efficiently review and process this request, complete one transfer request per child. Then, email the completed request and any supporting documentation to studenttransferforms@cfisd.net. You will receive an automatic email confirmation that the request was received.
