Teacher Appreciation Week

Ever since I started middle school, I was so nervous to see my teachers. I was scared that I would not learn well, but when I met Mr.Quereshi, I realized that he is one of the best math teacher ever! To this date, he makes sure that we have fun and learn concepts properly.

He is Funny and invested in our well being

As a parent, nothing makes you happier than seeing your child light up about something they love. Ms. Bilocura did that for my child through Honor Choir. Her energy, knowledge, and genuine investment in every student is remarkable. She created an experience my child will cherish forever. Ms. Bilocura is the kind of teacher who changes lives through music, and our family is blessed for having known her.

My teacher is the best because she makes learning fun and she has really good outfits and shes so nice and she has the best sideeyes.

Ms. Duffy has made a meaningful impact on my child's growth. He's more vocal, confident, and excited to learn each day. She creates a safe, nurturing space where he feels understood and supported. Her patience and ability to calmly guide him through challenges have made a lasting difference. We're truly grateful for her kindness, dedication, and the care she shows every day.

Ms. Lux is the BEST teacher ever! She's very passionate about her profession and truly cares about her students. I love how interactive she is with them all. My 6 year old daughter loves attending school because of her. Also, her communication with us parents is top notch! She's literally heaven sent!

Allison is a self contained Lifeskills elementary teacher at Copeland elementary. She had taken a lot of the responsibility for the entire Lifeskills program at Copeland. She had put in countless hours overtime to help the other Lifeskills teachers. She has the biggest work ethic I have ever seen and even when it gets hard she still shows up for the kids everyday. Being one of her paraprofessionals I have seen her dedication and commitment to her students and coworkers!

My son, Paxton, truly loves being a McGown Owl, and it is because of teachers like Mrs. Nordby. She sees him, supports him, and celebrates what he loves. He thrives when he is challenged, encouraged, and cared for, and she creates that kind of environment every single day. We are so grateful for her kindness and for the way she made his first grade year unforgettable.

Mrs. Hurban always has a smile on her face. She's a positive person. She's an amazing teacher who has encourage my child to become a wonderful writer and helped making her an amazing reader. Thank you Mrs. Husband for being an outstanding teacher!

Mrs. Schaefer is the sweetest soul in the whole school building. She is caring and kind but also so diligent and driven to make sure her students do their very best. Mrs. Schaefer has been a guiding light for my guy and I couldn't have hand picked a better first grade teacher!

We are so thankful for the compassion, encouragement, and dedication you bring to your classroom each day. The support you give Brooklyn and the thoughtful way you help her learn and grow truly mean so much to our family. It's clear how much you care about your students, and we are grateful for the positive impact you have on her every day. Thank you for all the time, energy, and heart you pour into your work.

The progress Amelia has made in both academics and self-confidence is incredible. Thank you for helping her grow into her full potential.

Mrs. Gill is one of the most impactful teachers I've had. I had her for AP Biology and chose Environmental Science just to have her again. She makes learning fun and engaging and truly cares about her students. She is funny, inclusive, and always supportive and accommodating. She leads by example every day. She doesn't just teach content, she builds confidence, work ethic, and character. Having her as a teacher has made a lasting impact on me, and she is, without a doubt, my favorite teacher.

She is very informative and patient. My son loves her.

Mrs. Bradshaw is the best teacher because she's really good at teaching, she makes kids follow directions very quickly, and she makes learning so so fun! I love that she lets us bring stuffies to school and helps us write stories about them.

Ms. Edwards is the best because of the positive impact she has had on his growth and learning. She is patient, kind, and truly cares for her students. My son always comes home with great stories about school, which shows the strong connection she builds with her class. She creates a supportive environment where children feel valued, encouraged, and excited to learn. We are grateful for the difference she has made in our son's life.

I had never met such a sweet teacher like Ms. Cruz. She is dedicated and goes above and beyond for her students. Her students and the parents love her.
