District 17 State Sen. Joan Huffman filed Senate Bill 260 last week that would double the School Safety Allotment.
“Thank you to Sen. Huffman for prioritizing school safety through SB 260, a bill that would provide key assistance to districts like CFISD that exceed our current allotment to benefit our students and staff,” said Justin Ray, CFISD Board secretary. “We look forward to working alongside our local delegates to prioritize the success of our students and strength of our community.”
