Dec. 4, 2025—Representatives from All-Star Martial Arts visited the staff at Sampson Elementary School on Nov. 18 and Farney Elementary School on Nov. 21 to officially announce their Adopt-a-School partnership with the campuses.
CFISD’s Adopt-a-School program pairs schools with community organizations and business partners to utilize community resources to strengthen and enrich the quality of education for students.
Kris Lieder, owner of All-Star Martial Arts, shared that he and his wife, Rachel, have helped Sampson and Farney in the past, but adopting the campuses takes their commitment to a new level.
“We share a lot of the same students with Sampson and Farney,” Lieder said. “We want to get more involved and give back to the community, and we thought this was a great opportunity to get started.”

Heather Motzny, Sampson principal, expressed her excitement about All-Star Martial Arts’ commitment to supporting the campus.
“We are thrilled to be adopted by a local business committed to uplifting our school,” Motzny said. “We are looking forward to the positive impact that this partnership with All-Star Martial Arts will bring.”
Tracy Jacobsen, Farney principal, echoed the same excitement about the partnership.
“We are incredibly excited about our new partnership with All-Star Martial Arts,” Jacobsen said. “They have immediately stepped up, reaching out with purposeful and intentional ideas for support. We deeply appreciate their thoughtful approach and are looking forward to a successful relationship.”
