CFISD Student of the Week: Moises Guevara

May 6, 2024—Sheridan Elementary School second grade student Moises Guevara is praised by his teachers and fellow classmates for being a great student.

Grade: 2

Accomplishments: Guevara was chosen by his classmates to be student of the week. Guevara follows directions, walks quietly in line in the hallway and he always gives his best effort when given a task. His classmates describe him as nice, friendly and respectful to everyone.

Favorite class: “Science, because I like to do investigations so that I can get more knowledge and get good grades.”

Favorite things to do after class: “I like to play on my phone while sitting on my bed until it’s time to go eat dinner.”

Favorite song: “I don’t know. I like so many.”

Favorite website/app: “My favorite app is probably YouTube, because I can watch videos and relax.”

Favorite TV show: “My favorite TV show is probably The Flash, because it teaches me a lesson to always be good.”

Favorite movie: “My favorite movie is Octonauts, because sometimes they are funny and they do investigations about sea animals.”

Ambition: “I want to be a scientist when I grow up.”

What topics/things are you passionate about?: “Things that make me really happy are my bike and my toys.”

What inspires you?: “The thing that inspires me is every day I see someone building something and it makes me feel like I need to keep trying,”

What three things can’t you live without?: “I can’t live without my family, my food and my water.”
