CFISD Student of the Week: Harper No

Jan. 24, 2022—Sampson Elementary School second grade student Harper No is celebrated by her teachers for being an excellent student inside and outside of the classroom.

School: Sampson Elementary School

Age: 8

Grade: 2

Accomplishments: No is a distinguished honor roll student and is praised by her teacher, Brittany Bondy, for being able to do everything her peers can do. She also placed in the top 15 at her last swim meet. 

Favorite class: “I like science because I love getting to do the lab activities like making butter. I also enjoy working in the school garden.”

Favorite things to do after class: “I like to play with my friends and hang out with my family.”

Favorite song: Savage Love by Jason Derulo and Jawsh 685.”

Favorite website/app: “YouTube is my favorite website.”

Favorite TV show: “I like Disney’s Bunk’d because I think it’s funny.”

Favorite movie: “I love the Harry Potter movies. There are a lot of things going on in them.”

Ambition: “I want to be a teacher when I grow up because I love helping others. I also think it looks like fun.”

What topics/things are you passionate about?: “I’m passionate about fashion and helping others.”

What inspires you?: “Camp NubAbility inspires me. It’s a camp near Dallas that my whole family attends. I love it there because the other kids are just like me!”

What three things can’t you live without?: “Family, friends and food.”

What are you most looking forward to this semester?: “I’m looking forward to more science projects and labs.”
