CFISD Student of the Week: Sebastian Valdez

Oct. 11, 2021—Rennell Elementary School fourth grade student Sebastian Valdez is applauded by his teachers for being an excellent student and friend to his classmates.

Grade: 4

Accomplishments: Valdez’s teacher, Katherine Fogle, praises him for being a great student, classmate and friend. He works hard on all assignments and does really well collaborating with his classmates on group work.

Favorite class: “That’s hard! I like math because it’s something I can use in real life. I also like reading, because I don’t want to stop and it’s interesting.”

Favorite things to do after class: “I like to play baseball and doing gymnastics after class.”

Favorite song: Believer by Imagine Dragons.”

Favorite website/app: “Netflix or Disney+.”  

Favorite TV show: Raven’s Home, because it is original and funny.”

Favorite movie: “Anything Spiderman because it’s cool.”

Ambition: “I want to be a pilot because I like being up in the air.”

What topics/things are you passionate about?: “I like to talk about baseball and shoes.”

What inspires you?: “Baseball players that are from Latin countries.”

What three things can’t you live without?: “My family, baseball and my Xbox.”

What are you most looking forward to this semester?: “I like to get my report card. It’s exciting!”
