CFISD Student of the Week: Emily Trinh
Jan. 18, 2022—Cypress Ridge High School senior Emily Trinh is a well-rounded student whose accolades include academic all-state honors from the Texas High School Coaches Association and Texas Girls Coaches Association, and serving as Key Club president.

Accomplishments: Trinh served as a team captain for the Cypress Ridge volleyball team, where she earned All-District 17-6A second-team honors and academic all-state accolades from the Texas High School Coaches Association and Texas Girls Coaches Association. She also serves as president of the school’s Key Club.
Favorite class: “Art History was my favorite because it gave me the chance to be creative.”
Favorite things to do after class: “I enjoy playing volleyball and spending time with my family.”

Favorite Website/App: “I don’t have one because I enjoy disconnecting from society.”

Favorite movie: “Inside Out because I think it’s very cute and has a good concept.”
Ambition: “Making a difference. There’s so much we as individuals can do to change the world.”
