“I’m delighted to announce the selection of eight exceptional student artworks representing CFISD at the 2023 TASA/TASB Convention,” said Lee Carrier, coordinator of visual arts. “The contest allocation system facilitated by TAEA was based on school district size, which led CFISD to choose these eight entries to showcase our district. These artworks, spanning diverse mediums of drawing, painting and darkroom photography, were thoughtfully curated by a dedicated team of CFISD administrative staff, underscoring our unwavering commitment to nurturing creativity across all grade levels. The artworks stand as a testament to the strength and depth of CFISD’s visual art program, where students embark on their artistic journey at the young age of 5 and continue to flourish as they advance through the upper grade levels.”
