Bridgeland High School’s UIL One-Act Play, Leading Ladies, was one of three Bi-District 15/16-6A productions selected to advance to the area competition on April 2 at Magnolia High School. 

March 29, 2022—The Bridgeland High School, Cypress Creek High School and Cypress Ranch High School University Interscholastic League (UIL) One-Act Play productions were selected to advance to the area competitions following the Bi-District One-Act Play contests on March 22 and March 24.

The top three plays from each bi-district competition advance to the area contests. Cypress Ranch’s production Treasure Island earned the top spot in the Bi-District 15/16-6A competition, while Bridgeland’s production Leading Ladies earned second place. Klein Collins High School earned third place.

Cypress Creek High School’s UIL One-Act Play, Eurydice, earned third place in the Bi-District 17/18-6A competition. Cypress Creek advances to the area competition on April 1 at San Jacinto College-Central. 

Cypress Creek’s production Eurydice earned third place in the Bi-District 17/18-6A competition. Houston Carnegie Vanguard High School and Houston Westside High School placed first and second, respectively.

Bridgeland and Cypress Ranch will compete in the Area UIL One-Act Play competition on April 2 at Magnolia High School. Cypress Creek will compete in the Area UIL One-Act Play competition on April 1 at San Jacinto College-Central.
