Football playoffs continue for Cy-Fair, Cypress Falls in area round

Nov. 17, 2022—The Cy-Fair High School and Cypress Falls High School football teams won their bi-district postseason games Nov. 10-11 and advanced to the area playoffs Nov. 18.

In the Class 6A Division I playoff bracket, Cy-Fair beat Houston Westside, 49-0, on Nov. 10 at Pridgeon Stadium. The Bobcats will face Katy Cinco Ranch on Friday, Nov. 18 at 7 p.m. at Pridgeon Stadium (11355 Falcon Road).

The Bridgeland Bears ended their season as Division I Region II-6A bi-district finalists following a 48-14 loss to Klein Collins on Nov. 11.

The Cypress Ranch Mustangs ended their season as Division I Region II-6A bi-district finalists following a 31-24 loss to Klein Cain on Nov. 11.

The Jersey Village Falcons ended their season as Division I Region III-6A bi-district finalists following a 55-24 loss to Houston Lamar on Nov. 11.

In the Class 6A Division II bracket, Cypress Falls beat Tomball Memorial, 45-35, on Nov. 11 at Pridgeon Stadium. The Golden Eagles will face Spring Dekaney on Friday, Nov. 18 at 7 p.m. at New Caney ISD’s Randell Reed Stadium (21360 Valley Ranch Pkwy).

The Cypress Woods Wildcats ended their season as Division II Region II-6A bi-district finalists following a 30-3 loss to Tomball on Nov. 11.

For Cy-Fair’s game at Pridgeon Stadium, the following online ticket links are available for fans of both teams:

Presale Cy-Fair general admission tickets are available until Thursday, Nov. 17 at 3:30 p.m. and will be sold for $8 (adults) and $6 (students). Reserved tickets are available until Friday, Nov. 18 at 3:30 p.m. and will be sold for $8. Tickets at the gate will be sold for $10 apiece.

For Cypress Falls’ playoff game at Randall Reed Stadium, tickets will be sold online through New Caney ISD until Friday, Nov. 18 at 3 p.m. and will be sold for $8 (adults) and $6 (students).
