Bridgeland High School freshman Haley Hill was named the District 16-6A Girls’ Newcomer of the Year and also earned All-District 16-6A Cross Country First Team honors.
Dec. 14, 2022—District 16-6A and District 17-6A coaches selected the All-District 16-6A and All-District 17-6A cross country teams following the conclusion of each team’s 2022 season.
Bridgeland High School sophomore Benjamin Montgomery was named the District 16-6A Boys’ Newcomer of the Year and also earned All-District 16-6A Cross Country First Team honors.
On the girls’ side of District 16-6A, Bridgeland High School freshman Haley Hill was named Newcomer of the Year. Bridgeland Head Coach Tom Kennedy was voted Coach of the Year.
Jersey Village High School junior Anna Selinidis was the only female CFISD runner to earn All-District 17-6A First Team honors.
On the boys’ side in District 16-6A, Bridgeland sophomore Benjamin Montgomery was named Newcomer of the Year. Bridgeland Head Coach Kevin Waters was voted Coach of the Year.
District 17-6A did not name any superlative awards.
Jersey Village High School junior Marco Requejo was one of two Falcons to earn District 17-6A Cross Country First Team honors.
