Middle school girls’ basketball teams clinch division championships

March 22, 2022—CFISD’s 2021-2022 middle school girls’ basketball schedule concluded on Feb. 19, with seventh and eighth grade A and B teams claiming championships in their respective East, West and Central divisions.

The following teams won zone titles:

Eighth grade

  • the Arnold A team (6-0) won the East Division championship;
  • the Spillane A team (5-0) won the West Division crown;
  • the Labay A team (5-0) won the Central Division title;
  • the Hamilton B team (6-0) won the East Division championship;
  • the Spillane B team (5-0) won the West Division crown; and
  • the Labay B team (5-0) won the Central Division title.

Seventh grade

  • the Hamilton A team (6-0) won the East Division title;
  • the Anthony A team (5-0) won the West Division championship;
  • the Rowe A team (5-0) won the Central crown;
  • the Hamilton B team (6-0) won the East Division title;
  • the Anthony B team (5-0) won the West Division title; and
  • the Watkins B team (5-0) won the Central crown.
