Dec. 6, 2021—District 16-6A football coaches released the All-District Team following the conclusion of each team’s postseason.
Bridgeland High School senior quarterback Conner Weigman was voted the District 16-6A Offensive MVP for a second consecutive season.
Four different CFISD teams were represented among the district superlatives. Bridgeland High School senior quarterback Conner Weigman was voted Offensive MVP for a second consecutive season. Cypress Ranch High School senior defensive back Teylan Nelson was named Defensive MVP.
Cypress Falls High School sophomore running back Trey Morris was voted District 16-6A Offensive Newcomer of the Year.
Cypress Falls High School sophomore running back Trey Morris was voted Offensive Newcomer of the Year, while Cypress Ranch High School sophomore defensive back Tristtyn Davis was named Defensive Newcomer of the Year. Cypress Park High School Head Coach Greg Rogers was voted Coach of the Year.

“Congratulations to all CFISD football players that made the District 16-6A All-District football team,” said Ray Zepeda, CFISD director of athletics. “This was a very competitive year in the district with many teams competing for a playoff berth until the final week. It is an extreme honor to make the team and we honor and salute everyone that earned this prestigious recognition.”
Langham Creek High School junior Jaquaize Pettaway was named to the All-District 16-6A football team. Pettaway was a first-team wide receiver.
