Cypress Falls High School junior running back Trey Morris was voted District 16-6A Offensive MVP.
Dec. 2, 2022—District 16-6A football coaches released the All-District Team following the conclusion of each team’s postseason.
Four different CFISD teams were represented among the district superlatives. Cypress Falls High School junior running back Trey Morris was voted Offensive MVP. Cypress Ranch High School senior defensive lineman Ashton Porter was named Defensive MVP.

Langham Creek High School junior quarterback Braylon Scott was voted Offensive Newcomer of the Year, while Bridgeland High School sophomore linebacker Karson Krause was named Defensive Newcomer of the Year.
Cypress Falls High School Head Coach Chris Brister was voted Coach of the Year. He led the Golden Eagles to a share of the District 16-6A championship.
Langham Creek High School junior Braylon Scott was voted District 16-6A Offensive Newcomer of the Year.

“We are proud of all the CFISD athletes that made the All-District 16-6A football team,” said Ray Zepeda, CFISD director of athletics. “This was a very competitive year in the district, as shown by a four-team way for the league championship. It is an extreme honor to make the team and we honor and salute everyone that earned this prestigious recognition.”
