Jan. 23, 2023—Parents with children enrolled in bilingual or ESL classes at CFISD schools who want to learn English are invited to enroll in district-offered ESL classes for parents.

The free classes are offered for three levels of English proficiency: Introduction, Beginner or Intermediate. Registration will take place at the school cafeterias on the first day of class. Below is the class schedule.

• Saturday morning classes will begin Jan. 28 from 8 a.m. to noon at Owens Elementary School (7939 Jackrabbit Rd.) and Tipps Elementary School (5611 Queenston Blvd.). Classes will continue on Feb. 4, 11, 18 and 25; March 4 and 25; and April 1.
• Monday and Wednesday classes will begin Jan. 30 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Thornton Middle School (19802 Kieth Harrow Blvd.). Classes will continue on each Monday and Wednesday through April 5.
