CFISD students honored at first-ever Future Educators Signing Day
May 5, 2022—More than 160 CFISD students representing all 12 high schools were honored and celebrated for their aspirations to become classroom teachers at the district’s first-ever Future Educators Signing Day, held April 27 at the Berry Center.

Bridgeland student picked for AFJROTC Flight Academy Program
April 18, 2022—Bridgeland High School junior Tomas Caruso was among 200 Air Force JROTC cadets across the United States and globally to receive a scholarship to take part in the 2022 Air Force Flight Academy Program and earn the opportunity to attain their private pilot certification.

18th Annual Pass in Review showcases district’s AFJROTC cadets
March 30, 2022—Approximately 850 cadets representing CFISD’s 12 comprehensive high schools and nine JROTC units displayed their discipline and uniformity at the district’s 18th Annual Air Force Junior ROTC Pass in Review, held March 26 at Cy-Fair FCU Stadium.

Culinary arts students compete in fifth CFISD Cupcake Battle
Jan. 24, 2022—Jersey Village High School junior Ananda Stephens and Cypress Ranch High School junior Kiersten Vincenti won first place in their respective competition divisions at the fifth annual CFISD High School Cupcake Battle, held Jan. 21 at the Berry Center.

Cypress Woods HS senior earns real estate license
May 28, 2021—Cypress Woods High School senior Blake Stuart made history this spring, becoming CFISD’s first student to complete the real estate program and attain his real estate license.

CFISD students earn awards, win elected positions at Texas TSA
May 14, 2021—Students in CFISD Technology Student Association (TSA) organizations won 142 first place and 68 second place awards at the Texas TSA State Contest and Conference, held virtually April 8-21.

Bridgeland, Cypress Creek place in TASB Student Video Contest
April 7, 2021—The Bridgeland High School and Cypress Creek High School audio/video production programs won first and second place, respectively, in the high school division of the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) Student Video Contest.
