The Cypress-Fairbanks ISD EdTech Team hosts a virtual event once in the fall and once in the spring. Each event presents six unique sessions focused on educational technology programs, instructional strategies, and best practices for integrating technology within the classroom. It is a great place to learn about what's NEW, but also what's TRIED and TRUE! Participants are able to earn up to six hours of professional development credit. What sessions are offered?
Browse sessions by going to our Sessions page. There is no need to pre-register. However, it is recommended that you RSVP in order to receive information about this event.
How do I join?
The event begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 12 p.m. Sessions will continue on the hour. On the day of the event, go to the Sessions page. Select the session you want to attend. You will be directed to our YouTube LIVE Stream. If you log in to YouTube with your CFISD Credentials, you will be able to participate in the live chat.
How do I get PD credit?
Participants can earn 1 hour of PD credit for each session. To earn the credit, you must:
Watch the session
An attendance code will be shared at some point during the session. Make note of each code.
A link to an attendance form will also be shared. Submit the form.
Look for an email verification of your submitted form.
Attendance must be submitted by midnight on the Sunday after the event to receive credit.
CFISD Participants: Credit will be issued in CFPGS.
Out of District Participants: A certificate will be emailed to you. Please be sure to enter a valid email address in the form.
