Sept. 19, 2022—Parents with children enrolled in bilingual or ESL classes at CFISD schools who want to learn English are invited to enroll in district-offered ESL classes for parents.

The free classes are offered for three levels of English proficiency: Introduction, Beginner or Intermediate. Registration will take place at the school cafeterias on the first day of class. Below is the class schedule.

• Saturday morning classes will begin Oct. 1 from 8 a.m. to noon at Owens Elementary School (7939 Jackrabbit Rd.) and Tipps Elementary School (5611 Queenston Blvd.). Classes will continue on Oct. 8, 15, 22 and 29, Nov. 5 and 12.
• Monday and Wednesday classes will begin Oct. 3 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Thornton Middle School (19802 Kieth Harrow Blvd.). Classes will continue on each Monday and Wednesday through Nov. 16.
