Feb. 21, 2022—Parents with children enrolled in bilingual or ESL classes at CFISD schools who want to learn English are invited to enroll in district-offered ESL classes for parents.

The free classes are offered for three levels of English proficiency: Introduction, Beginner or Intermediate. Registration will take place at the school cafeterias on the first day of class. The class schedule is as follows:

• Saturday morning classes will begin Feb. 26 from 8 a.m. to noon at Owens Elementary School (7939 Jackrabbit Road) and Tipps Elementary School (5611 Queenston Blvd.). Classes will continue March 5 and 26 and April 2, 9, 23 and 30.
• Monday and Wednesday classes will begin Feb. 28 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Thornton Middle School (19802 Kieth Harrow Blvd.). Classes will continue each Monday and Wednesday through April 27.
