Cy-Fair High School sophomore Austin Godwin was voted the District 17-6A Newcomer of the Year by league coaches.
May 24, 2022—District 17-6A baseball coaches recently released the 2022 All-District 17-6A Baseball Team following the conclusion of each team’s season in the UIL playoffs.
Cy-Fair High School sophomore Austin Godwin was named the Newcomer of the Year.
Cy-Fair earned a second honor as Head Coach Billy Hardin and the Bobcats’ coaching staff earned Coach of the Year for a second consecutive season.
Jersey Village High School senior Dominic Padilla was among two Falcons named to the All-District 17-6A first team. Padilla was selected as an outfielder.
Spring Branch ISD’s Stratford High School earned one superlative with junior Paxton Terveen named Most Valuable Player, while Memorial High School’s Jackson Mayo was voted Pitcher of the Year.
