Sultonah Theriot, Little Bits and Masterpieces Creative Studio owner, signs an Adopt-a-School partnership agreement after the community partner announces its official partnership with Sheridan Elementary School on Sept. 22.
“Education is in my heart and as an art teacher-turned-business owner, I deeply value the role that our local schools have in our community and with our children,” Theriot said. “As a mother of four boys, with three of those currently attending Sheridan, it was no question that I felt compelled to serve this school. I am blessed enough to have my experience as an art teacher to guide my adoption of Sheridan, and I hope to support both the big humans and small ones that make it such a great school.”
Rene McIntyre, Sheridan principal, expressed her thankfulness for Little Bits and Masterpieces, which is the first business to partner with Sheridan in its history.
“It is an honor to partner with Little Bits and Masterpieces,” McIntyre said. “For an outside business to recognize the hard work teachers and staff do at Sheridan means the world to us! We look forward to working with Sultonah and her team.”
