CFISD Student of the Week: Aleena Ahmed

Arnold Middle School seventh grade student Aleena Ahmed excels both inside and outside of the classroom.

May 1, 2023—Arnold Middle School seventh grade student Aleena Ahmed excels both inside and outside of the classroom, as she has been an honor roll recipient the entire year and is credited for her kindness to others.

Age: 12

Grade: 7

Accomplishments: Ahmed is constantly praised by her teachers for being kind, helpful and smart. She’s always willing to help others and is an honor roll student.

Favorite class: “Math, because of my teacher, Mrs. (Alana) Delgado, and I love all the fun equations.”

Favorite things to do after class: “Meet with friends in the hallway and chat about our previous classes.”

­Favorite song:One of Them Girls by Lee Brice.”

Favorite website/app: “YouTube because I love all of the fun videos to watch. They just make me laugh.”

Favorite TV show: Jesse because all of the characters on it are hilarious and them make me smile.”

Favorite movie: Aqua Man is my favorite because it is so adventurous and interesting.”

Ambition: “To get perfect grades because it makes me feel good when I get them.”

What topics/things are you passionate about?: “I am very passionate about keeping our Earth clean because I love wildlife and nature.”

What inspires you?: “My friends inspire me every time they do something that just helps me become a better person in a way.”

What three things can’t you live without?: “My family, friends and nature.”

What are you most looking forward to this semester?: “I most look forward to going into eighth grade at the end of the semester. I will be the in the oldest grade in the school and will be able to look at sixth grade students and realize I was in their shoes only two years ago.”
