Destination Imagination is a worldwide creative problem-solving organization where teams of up to seven students choose a challenge to compete in. Challenges are multifaceted and students need skills in engineering, fine arts, teamwork and creativity in order to solve them. Teams work for months on the solution to their challenge, and present solutions in front of a team of appraisers at a regional tournament.

More than 70 teams consisting of CFISD students in grades 1-12 competed in this year’s Destination Imagination Regional tournament. The Gulf Coast Destination Imagination tournament was held Feb. 25 at Mayde Creek High School featuring other competing teams from Katy ISD and Fort Bend ISD.
