The Jersey Village High School color guard was named champion in the Scholastic A Red classification of the TCGC State Championships April 7 in College Station.

April 8, 2024—Several CFISD color guard teams from band programs earned awards at the Texas Color Guard Circuit (TCGC) State Championships, held April 6-7 at Reed Arena at Texas A&M University.

Jersey Village High School won the Scholastic A Red championship, while Cypress Falls High School secured the bronze medal in the same classification.

Teams from Langham Creek, Cypress Springs, Cypress Woods, Bridgeland and Cy-Fair high schools were represented in different performance classifications at the state event.

Cypress Lakes High School secured the bronze medal for their Scholastic Regional A classification at its class championship, held on March 23.
